Edward L. Eyerman, MD conducted the study at the St. Louis University School of Medicine and presented his findings at the 21st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Neuroimaging in 1998.

Twenty patients with lower back pain and radiating leg pain, (which was documented with MRI, clinical examination and electromyography), received treatment on a non-surgical spinal decompression table. Fourteen patients had confirmed disc protrusions between 4-10 mm and some had protrusions and/or spinal stenosis or inflammation of the facets. Read more
